Lead Face to Face

The book has arrived! | April 9, 2011

Seeing your book in print is worth the wait.

After years of learning, thinking, achieving my MBA, serving patients, speaking and teaching, connecting, getting prepared, leading and being led, and then finally putting words on paper, it’s here.

In the book I talk about how to lead face to face. How to be present, engaged, and energized as a leader who loves what you do.

The qualities of a leader

Self awareness

Authenticity

Engagement

Can you think of someone who has been a powerful mentor in your life?

Chances are, that person is real. Authentic. Open. Honest. Transparent.  Theres no duplicity.

Engagement is an unspoken act that speaks volumes about who we are. Those of us who are engaged create cultures of commitment. Those who are disengaged, create cultures of compliance!

Emotional absenteeism is a term I use. That’s a quality of someone who is disengaged, just going through the motions.
