Lead Face to Face

There are about 300 living astronauts in the United States. And to be an astronaut, you’ve got to have a whole lot of leadership ability, including discipline, education and determination. My friend and leadership coach Tony Jeary recently went to a gathering of leaders where he met Tom Henricks, an astronaut who has flown several missions for the space program.

What kind of leader are you?

You may not be an astronaut leading a mission, but the principles you need to succeed are all the same.

In my book, Face to Face Leadership, I talk about being a holistic leader where the things you do at home, are the same as the things you do at work. So leadership traits are developed within an individual, which means that whatever we strive to be better at, will effect a lot of different areas of our life.
