Leadership. 101

I think we might have missed the boat when it comes to the way We view the art of management.

I wrote an article about this recently.

We’ve somehow misinterpreted management to mean that we MUST oversee and direct the behavior of other people.

I wonder what Seth Godin would say about that.

Because If we approach management that way don’t we assume that we are responsible for the actions and motivation of our staff?

We assume our staff is incapable of achieving a desired goal – Or fulfilling their responsibilities without our guidance.

Neither assumption is further from the truth.
